Geothermal
Loop Installation
We
do the excavating, drilling and all other necessary ground work
for the installation of closed loop ground source heat exchangers
on geothermal heating and cooling systems. We do not sell equipment,
nor do we work on air systems. We support any reputable manufacturers'
products to insure its optimal performance. Our team works with
the HVAC contractors to maintain customer satisfaction.

Durbin
Enterprises respects the time, talent, and investment that our clients
employ to search for the best loop field for their site. Our installation
crews and drillers are licensed, trained professionals. Each member meets
the health and safety requirements as mandated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120
and the State regulatory agencies governing our work. We are also International
Ground Source Heat Pump Association accredited installers.

Drilling
Services
Skilled
in a wide variety of drilling techniques and applications, our field
personnel evaluate, react to site conditions and use appropriate
drilling methods and procedures to meet the design objectives.
- Our inside
piping and fusion crews have been certified by Climate Master,
Phillips Drisco, Water Furnace and Vanguard.
- We offer
a three-year warranty on our workmanship. We use pipe with at
least a 50-year leakage warranty.

Horizontal
Loop Fields
We offer
a variety of choices for horizontal geothermal loop fields because
we can choose from a wide variety of excavating equipment, ranging
from small finish tractors to large track hoes, back hoes, and even
bulldozers. We can help you with a design that will fit both the land
constraints and project budget. |

instead of the traditional 250 foot. They are typically installed
in 5 ft. wide and 5 ft. deep trenches. |

Earth
Contact
Earth
contact is very important to the performance of a loop field. Our
vertical bores are 100 percent grouted from bottom to top using
a geo-loop 50/500-grout pipe. We use E-Z Seal Bentonite grout. It
is premixed with polymer to insure proper consistency. Special thermally
enhanced grouts are available for commercial applications.

Pond Loops
Together
with the help of top industry engineers, we developed an innovative
aqua rack for pond loop installations. The rack keeps the loops above
the silt layer of the pond and helps space the loops evenly. This
allows the best heat transfer during both the cooler and warmer seasons.
Without the rack system, pond loops may rest in silt and then provide
inconsistent heat transfer rates. The aqua rack shown on the left
is for a five-ton loop in southern Illinois. |
